CCTV image issued over bank card theft in Reading

Elderly man robbed while parking his car

Police have released a CCTV image of a woman officers would like to speak to following a theft in Reading.

They say she may have vital information.

At around 11.40am on Monday 16 August two people have approached the victim, an elderly man, in Hills Meadow Car Park and pretended to assist him with the parking machine. During this process they stole his bank card.

The stolen card was then used to purchase items in shops in the London area.

Investigating officer PC Natasha Black, based at Reading police station, said:

“I am appealing to anyone who recognises this woman, or believes it could be you, to please get in touch.

“If you have any information that you think might help our investigation, please make a report online or call 101 quoting reference 43210367292.
