Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted in Bracknell.

Between 3.30pm and 5.30pm last Monday (22 January), the victim, a man aged in his thirties, was involved in an argument with a woman in the Mill Pond Park.

It was reported that the offender then attacked the victim, kicking and punching him.

When back at the Mill Pond car park, the offender is reported to have driven her car at the victim, who had to take evasive action to avoid being hit.

Later, in Rosedale Gardens, it is believed that the same offender has driven at the victim again, hitting him, causing him to go onto the bonnet and smash the windscreen.

The victim sustained cuts and bruising, but did not require hospital treatment.

The offender is described as a white female, between 5ft 2ins and 5ft 3ins tall with long brown hair and glasses.

Investigating officer PC Daniel Cook, based at Loddon Valley police station, said:

“At this stage of the investigation, I would like to reassure the public that we believe the victim and offender are known to each other and there is no wider risk to the local community.”

“However, I’m appealing to anybody who witnessed these incidents to please get in touch with Thames Valley Police.

“You can do so by making a report online or by calling 101, quoting reference 43240033625.

“Alternatively, for 100% anonymity, you can also call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
