A 15-year-old boy from Reading, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was charged with one count each of robbery and possession of a knife blade/sharp pointed article in a public place on Monday (25/12)T
Two other 15-year-old boys, from Newbury and Iver, Buckinghamshire, who also cannot be named for legal reasons, were both charged with one count of robbery on Monday.
The charges relate to the robbery of a teenage boy in Victoria Park on Sunday (24/12). The victim suffered minor injuries but did not require hospital treatment.
The boys were all remanded in custody and appeared at Reading Magistrates’ Court yesterday (26/12).
The magistrates released them all on conditional bail to appear at the same court on 10 January next year.
