Tribute to boy who died in Datchet
His death is being treated as murder
The family of 16-year-old Aidan Tottman has released a tribute to their loved one who died after an incident in Datchet on Saturday (19/10), after which a murder investigation was launched.
Family statement
"Aidan was the best son, big brother, nephew, grandson, cousin and friend anyone could have. He was a massive part of so many people's lives and is loved very dearly by all.
"He’s a kind, caring, funny and sometimes a shy boy, who was always polite and had respect for others. Aidan will be so missed by so many people.
"A whole community is grieving. Taken way too soon, gone but never forgotten. RIP beautiful boy, forever 16. "
Collision
Aidan dies in a crash outside the Liquid Leisure Centre on the Horton Road in Datchet last Saturday afternoon (19/10).
Police officers arrived at the scene and found a motorcycle had left the road and its two occupants, two boys aged 16 and both from Slough, were seriously injured.
A 56-year-old man from Datchet was arrested, initially on suspicion of drink-driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving. Subsequently, he was further arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder.
He has been released on conditional police bail until 10th January 2025.
