Police name man who died in Basingstoke last Wednesday

A man has since been charged with the murder of Troy Harkness

The victim in a murder investigation in Basingstoke has been named by Police.

22-year-old Troy Harkness from Aldershot was found in Abbey Road in the Popley area of the town last Wednesday night.

He'd suffered a serious injury and was pronounced dead on arrival at Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital.

25-year-old Jordan Graham Clarke, of Blackmoor Drive in Basingstoke, has been charged with murder.

He has been remanded in custody after appearing at Winchester Crown Court yesterday.

The family of Troy Harkness paid tribute to him saying 'he always brightened a room with his smile'.
