Woman suffers broken wrist at bar in Newbury

Police are appealing for witnesses to assault

A woman has suffered a fractured wrist after a man was pushed into her at a bar in Newbury.

It happened just after midnight last Saturday morning at the Walkabout in Cheap Street.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident - the woman in her fifties was treated at the RBH and has now been discharged.

PC Andrew Whitfield, based at Newbury police station, said:

“I am appealing for any witnesses to this incident, or anybody with information, to please come forward.
