Call for local artists to display their work at west Berkshire festival

The Base at Greenham Common is giving artists the opportunity to display and sell their work

The Base, Greenham is calling out to local artists for the chance to display their work for sale as part of the venue’s upcoming Festival of Arts & Crafts which will take place from Saturday 9 April to Monday 18 April.

Artists working in any style or medium are invited to show (and sell) their work in the Gallery space for the duration of the festival.

The Base’s Festival of Arts & Craft will be a 10-day celebration of arts, crafts and artisan food and drink from local makers and creators.

On Saturday 9, Sunday 10 and Saturday 16 to Monday 18 April, a craft market will surround The Base building with free car parking available elsewhere on Greenham Business Park.

From Monday 11 to Friday 15 April, visitors will have the opportunity to have a go at a range of taster workshops from the venue’s programme of workshops and courses.

To apply to display artwork in The Base’s Gallery, visit their website to download an application form. Completed forms, along with pictures of your work, must be sent by email to admin@thebasegreenham.co.uk by Sunday 13 March at 9pm.
