Arson attack on house in east Berkshire

Occupants escaped without injury

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following an arson in Eton Wick.

At around 3.30am on Monday (13/2), the front door of a property in Queens Road was set alight.

The occupants of the property were able to get out safely. No one was injured.

Damage has been caused to the front door and frame as a result of the fire.

Investigating officer, DC Gary Holliday, said:

“Thankfully the occupants of the property were able to escape without injury.

“We are carrying out a thorough investigation to establish the circumstances and would appeal to anyone who has information about what happened to please come forward.

“Please check any doorbell, CCTV or dash-cam footage in case it may have captured something that may assist the investigation.
