Man charged with arson after house fire in Andover

Firefighters spent two hours controlling fire on Tuesday evening

A man has been charged with arson offences following a house fire in Andover.

Officers were called at 10.13pm on Tuesday 6 February by fire service colleagues to a fire at an address in Spring Mews.

Firefighters put out the fire. The house sustained damaged but no injuries were reported.

Officers attended and arrested a man.

Aston Corri Stiles, 32, of Spring Mews, Andover, has been charged with arson with intent to endanger life and arson with recklessness as to whether life was endangered.
