Approximately 100 firefighters have been sent to a large warehouse fire in Andover.
They were called just after 10 o'clock this morning and are being supported by crews from Dorset & Wiltshire, and Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Services.
The firefighters were sent to a warehouse on the Walworth Business Park - the same estate where in 2019 a huge fire destroyed the Ocado warehouse.
This fire does not involve Ocado and is in 'The Dormy House' a two-storey furniture and paint showroom.
No one has been injured or reported missing in today's incident.
A spokesperson for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue service said:
"Firefighters remain on the scene of a large warehouse fire on the Walworth Industrial Estate in Andover.
"The two-storey building used as a furniture and paint store was fully involved in the blaze which is now under control.
"The HIWFRS Control Room received multiple calls reporting the incident shortly after 10am, with Hampshire crews working alongside colleagues from Dorset and Wiltshire FRS and Royal Berkshire FRS.
"At the height of the incident there were approximately 100 firefighters on the scene working to stop the fire.
"Fortunately there have been no injuries from the blaze.
"There are still a large number of emergency services vehicles on the scene and Walworth Road remains closed.
"Fire engines responded to the scene from Andover, Whitchurch, Winchester, Basingstoke, Eastleigh, St Mary’s, Brockenhurst, Bishop’s Waltham, Hartley Wintney, Sutton Scotney, Hamble, Rushmoor, Dorset and Wiltshire FRS and Royal Berkshire FRS.
"Relief crews from Totton, Ringwood, Romsey, Cosham, Overton, Beaulieu, Tadley and Yateley were sent to take over from the firefighters who were first on the scene and had been working for a number of hours.
"Water carriers, aerial ladder platforms and environmental protection unit vehicles were also on the scene. "
