Police ask for dashcam footage after Andover assault

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted near the King Arthurs Way junction on the A343 in Andover.

Between the hours of 11pm and 11.15pm on Saturday 7 August, a man was approached by a black vehicle before being chased on foot.

He later suffered an injury to his left hand.

The suspect was described as being a black male, aged around 25, 6ft tall and of slim build.

He had black braided hair and was wearing a black Nike tracksuit.

A Police spokesperson said:

"Were you in the area at the time? Perhaps you saw someone matching this description, or have dash-cam footage that might assist us?
