South central Ambulance service say one of their vehicles was attacked while paramedics were treating a patient.

"Thankfully" they say the crew were not in the vehicle at the time it happened in Slough.

The door mirror was smashed which has meant the ambulance has been taken off the road.

The SCAS NHS Foundation Trust said on their Facebook page:

"This unacceptable behaviour has happened at a time when we are under massive pressure due to COVID. If you spot anyone vandalising one of our Ambulances while we are in someone’s home please help us by reporting any illegal activity to the Police."
