Shop worker threatened during robbery in North Hampshire

Police in North Hampshire are looking for a man in connection with a robbery in Alton.

It happened early last Thursday morning (7 October), between 6:25am and 6:35am, at the shop and post office on London Road in Holybourne.

A man threatened a staff member to open the tills - and then made off on a bicycle, taking the cash from the tills.

The man is described as being around 6ft tall and of skinny build.

He was wearing a full facial covering, a maroon coloured hoody with the hood up, light trousers and light trainers.

Officers are keen to identify the man in this photo.

They are asking for anyone who lives in the area and has private CCTV including ring doorbell to contact them.

They are also asking any drivers who were in the area at the time and might have dash cam footage to come forward.
