Detectives are reappealing for information after a man indecently exposed himself to a child in Letchworth earlier this year, with a reward of up to £1,000 on offer for information received.

The incident happened on Sunday 2 February, around 3.40pm in an alleyway in the Jarden area of the town.

North Herts Detective Inspector Katy Northway said: “Enquiries have continued since this incident and despite a good image of the man being released, he has not been identified. We are now six months on and again asking that if you recognise him, come forward and make contact with us.

“The man in the footage was thought to have been in the area around the time of the incident and may be able to assist with enquiries.

“We hope that anyone who knows him will be able to recognise the individual and make contact with us.

“At the time he was wearing a dark coloured jacket with a white logo on the left arm.

“We have given support to the young victim and her family who are understandably still coming to terms with what happened.”

The independent charity Crimestoppers is offering a reward of up to £1,000 for information regarding the incident of indecent exposure in Letchworth.
