Women in care homes reportedly exploited in Haddenham
A man has been arrested and bailed as part of the investigation
A man has been arrested for the financial exploitation of two elderly women in care homes in Haddenham near Aylesbury.
Police received a number of reports about a man befriending elderly, vulnerable care home residents and extracting large sums of money from them in return for running small local errands.
A 64-year-old man from Cuddington has been arrested and bailed until the 25th August.
In a joint statement from Investigating officer Detective Constable James Lacey and Rebecca Newman, Protecting Vulnerable People investigator, they said:
“We are conducting a full investigation into these allegations. A man has been arrested and is now released on bail.
“Thames Valley Police thoroughly investigates reports of elderly and vulnerable people being targeted for personal gain.
