Woman injured in A41 crash

Part of the road near Aylesbury was closed last night

A two-car crash near Aylesbury has left a woman needing hospital treatment.

At around 6pm yesterday (18/1) two vehicles, a silver Jeep Grand Cherokee and a black Ford Fiesta,** were involved in a head on collision on the A41**, Fleet Marston, near to Wayside Farm.

The driver of the Fiesta, a woman aged 42, sustained an ankle injury and was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital for treatment where she remains at this time.

The driver of the Jeep, a man aged 36 and two passengers aged 19 and 26 were uninjured.

Investigating officer, PC Nigel Rosier of the Joint Roads Policing Unit based in Amersham, said:

“The road was busy at the time of the incident and I would like to appeal for anyone who may have seen what happened to get in touch.

“Please check your dash-cam footage and if it has captured anything of the incident, we would ask you to share this with us.

“Also, if you saw either of the vehicles before the collision or think the vehicles may be captured on your dash-cam footage, it would be useful to hear from you.
