Woman hospitalised in 4 vehicle crash
Hertfordshire police are appealing for witnesses
A woman is being treated in hospital for serious injuries after a serious crash in Bishop’s Stortford.
At just after 7.30am on Tuesday 18 April, a black Vauxhall Vivaro van, a white Mercedes Sprinter van, a black Volvo estate and a white Ford transit van were involved in the incident on the A120.
Officers, the East of England Ambulance Service and the Fire and Rescue Service attended.
Two people were taken to hospital. The driver of the Volvo, a woman in her 30s, suffered serious injuries and is in a stable condition in hospital. The driver of the Transit van, a man in his 20s, sustained minor injuries.
Police are appealing for witnesses, information and dash cam footage.
PC Peter Hoddy, of the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit, said: “As we continue to investigate the circumstances of this road traffic collision, I’d like to appeal to anyone who witnessed it or has dash cam footage, that has not already been in contact, to get in touch.
