Woman grabbed around the neck during Milton Keynes altercation

She was dragged along the road by her attacker

A woman has been grabbed around the neck, lifted off the ground and dragged along in Milton Keynes.

At around 2.40pm on Sunday (11/4), the victim, a 30-year-old woman, was assaulted at a bus stop at The Point on Midsummer Boulevard.

An altercation occurred between the victim and a man following a verbal disagreement. She was grabbed around the neck, lifted off the ground and then dragged for a short distance between The Point and the CMK shopping centre.

The victim suffered an injury to her ear lobe as a result.

The offender is described as a black man, around 30 years old, approximately 6ft tall and medium build with black dreadlock hair. He was seen wearing a black coat, dark tracksuit trousers, trainers and a black face mask.

PC Tanya Watkins, of Milton Keynes police station, said:

“We would like to speak to anyone who witnessed this assault or may have been in the area at the time. Perhaps you were at the bus stop waiting for the bus? We are keen to hear from anyone who can help us with this investigation.
