Woman hit in the face with a glass at Aylesbury pub

She was left with serious injuries in the attack on Thursday night

A woman has been hit in the face with a glass in a pub beer garden in Aylesbury.

The 19-year-old has been left with serious face injuries after the incident last night at the Broad Leys Pub.

The incident happened just before 11pm.

Officers are keen to speak with anyone who witnessed the incident and may be able to assist their enquiries.

The who is alleged to have carried out the assault is described as being a white woman, around 5ft5ins tall, of large build and wearing a pink top and black fluffy jacket.

Investigating officer PC Richard Ord, of Aylesbury police station, said:

"This assault has left a woman with serious injuries.

"I want to speak with anyone who witnessed the incident or the moments leading up to it at the Broad Leys pub.

"If you have any information which may assist us, please call 101, quoting 43210159461."

Another 19-year-old woman from Stone has been arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and grievous bodily harm with intent.
