Witnesses sought to M25 crash in Hertfordshire

Officers from the Road Policing Unit (RPU) are appealing for witnesses and information, after a road traffic collision on the M25 on Saturday (6 September).

The incident occurred on the exit slip road at junction 19 (Chandlers Cross) towards the A41 at around 9.30pm.

A silver Mercedes was exiting the motorway, when it collided with a white Toyota Prius which subsequently collided with a white Sprinter flatbed recovery truck. The driver of the truck sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital.

Sergeant Matt O’Neill, from the RPU, said: “We would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision, was driving in the area at the time with a dash cam in operation or who saw the silver Mercedes prior to the collision.”
