Police are appealing for witnesses, information and dash cam footage after a serious collision in Potters Bar.

At around 7.15pm yesterday (4 December), two Honda mopeds were riding south from Hatfield towards the High Street in Potters Bar.

One of the mopeds was involved in a collision with a blue Citroen C3 on Hatfield Road, at the junction with Quakers Lane.

The rider of the moped, a 17-year-old boy, sustained a serious head injury and was taken to hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries.

Sergeant Duncan Hall, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit, said: “Our enquiries are ongoing as we continue to piece together what happened.

“If you witnessed the collision itself or the events leading up to it then please get in touch. Additionally, if you recorded any dash cam footage of the incident please upload this via herts.police.uk/dashcamupload.”
