Teenager charged with GBH following stabbing in Watford

A man's been charged following an incident of grievous bodily harm (GBH) in Watford.

Police were called just before 10.20pm on Tuesday 23 July to reports of an assault in Maeme’s on Clarendon Road, Watford.

It's reported that two people entered the shop with knives and assaulted a man.

The victim, a man aged in his 20s, had suffered a stab wound.

He was taken to hospital for treatment.

Detectives have been conducting extensive enquiries and subsequently arrested a man in connection with the incident on Friday last week (7 September).

Marcel Gordon, aged 18, of Abbey View, Watford, was charged with GBH with intent.

The teenager will appear at St Albans Crown Court on Tuesday 8 October.
