A shopping centre in Watford says they are now welcoming "well‑behaved dogs" inside. The comapny which runs Harlequin are asking owners to abide by the following rules:

Your dog remains your responsibility whilst on these premises.

Please keep your dog on a non-extendable, static lead at all times.

Please do not leave your dog unattended.

Please do not take your dog on the escalators, for their own safety. Please use the lifts and stairs instead.

Please clean up after your dog

Please don’t let your dog cause a nuisance by barking, jumping up at or pestering other visitors

Please respect the dog policies of our individual tenants – look out for the dog-friendly sticker in windows to show that they allow dogs within their store.

More than 70 shops have signed up to the scheme and are displaying posters in their windows welcoming the pooches in. They include; Apple, Costa, River Island and Zara.
