Watford have the opportunity to go top of the Sky Bet Championship when they face off against West Brom this evening.

The Hornets defeated fellow promotion hopefuls, Sheffield United, last week and will be looking to continue this fine form when they travel north to The Hawthorns - knowing that a victory of over three goals would be enough to see them summit the league.

The Hertfordshire outfit are buoyed by the news that Mario Gaspar is fit and available for selection, with Head Coach, Rob Edwards, confirming there were no other injury concerns.

Speaking to the club's social media team team, the gaffer paid testament to the positive atmosphere within the squad:

"There’s been a good vibe around the training ground. After a win it’s always a good feeling and it’s important to not get carried away, especially in the Football League."

The boss also went on to outline the dangers The Baggies pose:

“It will be another very difficult game, West Brom are always a formidable force, and Steve Bruce is a very good manager.

“They’ve recruited some good players and they will be a difficult team to get the better of. We know it’s going to be difficult, especially at their place, but it’s one we’re looking forward to and I think it’ll be difficult for them too.”

Watford go into the clash unbeaten in their last 3 games versus the West Midlands side, having come out on top the last time they met.
