Update in the search for a missing man near High Wycombe
The body of a man has been located in Walters Ash.
Police searching for a missing person near High Wycombe have located the body of a man off Small Dean Lane, Walters Ash.
Formal identification is yet to take place, but the man is believed to be Clifford Stephenson, aged 82, who has been missing since Thursday (26/8).
His death is currently being treated as unexplained but it is not believed to be suspicious.
Inspector Jason Liles, based at High Wycombe police station, said: “We are currently supporting the man’s next of kin.
“I would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal.
“It is with great sadness that we have to inform you of this tragic outcome.”
