Two seriously injured in M40 crash

Two cars and a van were involved in the crash yesterday

Two people have been left with serious injuries after a crash on the M40 yesterday morning (February 18).

Thames Valley Police were called to the southbound carriageway between junction 5 and 4, where a grey Audi A3, a silver Mercedes E220 and a white Ford transit van had crashed.

A man and a woman, both in their forties, were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

They're both still receiving treatment.

Any witnesses or anyone with information is being asked to get in contact with officers.

Detective Sergeant Darren Brown, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit said: “I am appealing for any witnesses to this collision, which has left two people with serious injuries, to please come forward.

“Also, if you were driving in the area around the time of the collision and have a dash-cam, please check your recording in case it has captured something that could assist us and get in touch if you have."
