Two men sentenced for drug dealing in High Wycombe
The offenders were caught supplying crack cocaine and heroin
Two men have been sentenced following a drug dealing investigation in High Wycombe.
Kamal Brown, a 27-year-old from Micklefield Road, has been jailed for three years and seven months after admitting to two counts of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs, crack cocaine and heroin.
James Reid, a 37-year-old of Lingfield Close, received a sentence of one year and ten months, suspended for 18 months, after also pleading guilty to the same offences.
Both men were sentenced at Aylesbury Crown Court on Friday, 7th November.
Thames Valley Police tracked down the offenders, leading to their arrest and subsequent charges on 23rd January earlier this year.
Detective Sergeant James Hoskin of Buckinghamshire’s Proactive Team said their unit is committed to targeting and prosecuting offenders involved in drug supply.
“Our team will proactively target and prosecute offenders, and our activity will be both visible and covert aimed at disrupting and pursuing those involved in the supply of drugs,” he said.
He also highlighted the importance of information from the public in combatting drug-related offences in High Wycombe.
“If you have any information, we would encourage you to report it to us by calling 101 or through the online reporting form on our website,” DS Hoskin added.
