Two arrested in connection with attempted murder in Milton Keynes

Two women remain in hospital after being hit by a car on South Fifth Street in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Two men have been arrested in connection with an attempted murder investigation in Milton Keynes.

A 26-year-old man from Milton Keynes remains in police custody on suspicion of attempted murder, while a 29-year-old man from Milton Keynes has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. He's been released on police bail.

The arrests are following an incident at around 3:20am in the early hours of Tuesday morning on South Fifth Street, Milton Keynes, where two women sustained serious injuries.

Investigating officer, Detective Inspector James Horseman, said: “We are continuing our investigation and ask anyone with any further information who has not yet come forward to do so through our online reporting site or by calling 101, quoting reference 43220578130."
