Two mass coronavirus vaccination sites coming to Buckinghamshire

As the number of those given the jab nears 10,000 here

Over 9,000 people have been given the coronavirus vaccine in Buckinghamshire, as deaths in our hospitals passed 200 last week.

This week, more areas will start getting the jab.

To start off with, it's the over-80s, care home staff and residents and health and social care workers who'll get the jab.

A few sites have been set up already here, including in Princes Risborough, Winslow and Chalfont St Peter.

Bucks Council now say two mass-vaccination sites are planned.

Aylesbury and Wycombe Town Centre will also start to see the inoculations given out this week.

And a reminder from the Council:

"Please do not contact your GP for a vaccine, when it’s your turn, they will be in touch with you."
