Two dogs die after being 'deliberately poisoned' in Stevenage

Police have confirmed it is being treated as an "isolated incident"

Two dogs have reportedly been poisoned in Stevenage.

It has been reported to police that two dogs at an address in Brimstone Road were deliberately poisoned on, or around, Tuesday (18 May).

PC Ryan McMenemy, who is investigating, said:

"Sadly both dogs have died following this incident.

"This is being treated as an isolated incident and enquiries are being carried out into the circumstances of it.

"I’m appealing to anyone who has information about this or to anyone who saw anything suspicious around the Brimstone Road area on Tuesday 18 May, or the days leading up to it, to get in touch.

"If you are able to help I can be contacted directly via email at ryan.mcmenemy@herts.pnn.police.uk ."
