Two arrested after pedestrian hit by car and assaulted in Watford
Police are appealing for information
A man's in hospital after being hit by a car and assaulted in Watford.
Hertfordshire Police have launched an appeal for witnesses and information after the incident last Wednesday evening.
Between 8:25pm and 8:45pm, a man was crossing St Albans Road with his dog when he was hit by a car.
A verbal altercation after led to two men getting out of the car and assaulting him.
It happened near to the Tesco Express store, close to the junction with Judge Street.
Officers say he is in hospital and had received treatment for a bleed on the brain, numerous facial fractures and two black eyes.
Two people have been arrested in connection with the incident.
They've since been bailed.
