Tributes paid to man who died in Welwyn Garden City

The family of a man who died after an incident in Welwyn Garden City have paid tribute to him.

42-year-old Gavin Hubbard has been described as a "wise, kind, funny and loyal man" after his death.

He sadly died on Sunday, May 19th, after an incident at an address in Linkfield in Welwyn Garden City.

In a statement, Gavin’s family said: “Gavin, the son of Roy and Val, brother of Trev, Tracy and Chris, a dad to Sophie, Jack and Carter and a grandad to three.

“He was also a loving uncle to many.

“Gav was loved by his family; he was loved by his friends, and he loved so many.

“Despite his troubles he was there for anyone who needed him. He was a wise, kind, funny and loyal man. He will be missed so so much.

“Rest in peace Gav, love you forever.”

Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit (MCU) launched an investigation into his death.

21-year-old Tuche Coskun has been charged and remanded with murder, assault causing actual bodily harm, and being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.

She is due to appear at Luton Crown Court on Friday (May 24).
