Tom Lockyer has returned to Luton's training ground for the first time since his cardiac arrest.

The 29-year-old collapsed during Luton's clash with Bournemouth in December.

"Amazing. Brilliant. Really good to see him," said Luton Town manager Rob Edwards, reflecting on Lockyer's return. "Yeah, we had a great morning to see Tom around the place"

Edwards revelaed that Lockyer attended a presentation, which saw players who made their premier league debut this year, given the match balls from those games. "

"...it was a real special moment and great to see him around today."

As Lockyer reacquainted himself with the training ground, Edwards remarked on the emotional significance of the occasion: "I managed to hold it together. Believe it or not! It's just it's been a real difficult time for him and his family. First and foremost. Obviously for us (too) because we're close."

Edwards also praised Lockyer's courage and composure in the face of adversity. "I think he's an unbelievably brave man and he just seems thate he has an unbelievable handle over all of it," Edwards remarked.

"And yeah, it it I wouldn't be able to sort of be how he is. I wouldn't. He's just such an impressive person.

"There's a rehabilitation process as well to go through now, but he's just he's taking it pretty slowly and he's got a baby on the way. That's really exciting for him as well at the moment. And I think rightly so, that's his main focus."
