A house has been badly damaged in a fire in a Buckinghamshire village.

Bucks Fire & Rescue were called out to Risborough Road in Great Kimble yesterday evening.

Three dogs had to be rescued, but all the people in the house got out safely.

Three appliances and crews from Aylesbury, two from High Wycombe, one from Amersham, one from Maidenhead and three officers attended.

Firefighters used two main jets, breathing apparatus and a turntable ladder.
