Three charged in connection with Watford shooting
A e-bike rider in his 20's was reportedly shot at on July 25th - and left with serious injuries
Three more people have been charged in connection with a shooting on the on the A41 in Watford.
Four individuals were arrested on Wednesday, 18 September, in connection with a shooting on Thursday, 25 July, when a man on an e-bike was reportedly involved in an altercation with occupants of a black BMW near Junction 5 of the A41 North Western Avenue. During the altercation, shots were fired, leaving the man, aged in his 20s, with serious injuries.
Emergency services attended the scene, and the victim was transported to hospital for treatment. He has since recovered from his injuries.
The Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and Hertfordshire (BCH) Major Crime Unit launched an investigation following the incident. As part of ongoing enquiries, officers arrested two individuals in Toms Lane, Kings Langley, and two women were also detained on suspicion of perverting the course of justice.
Detectives have now charged three more people in connection with the shooting. Carlito Dujon, aged 20, of Dodd Road, Watford, was re-arrested and charged with attempted murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life. He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Hatfield Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 20 September.
Selin Johnson, aged 23, of High Meadow Crescent, London, was charged with perverting the course of justice. She was released on court bail and is scheduled to appear at St Albans Crown Court on Thursday, 17 October. Zarmina Galmne, aged 24, of Village Way, Pinner, London, was similarly charged and also released on bail. Her court appearance is set for the same date.
In a related development, Hekmat Galmne, aged 26, of Village Way, Pinner, had been charged in August with attempted murder. He remains in custody and is due to appear in court on 26 September.
A 38-year-old woman arrested in Kings Langley has been released on police bail pending further investigations.
Detective Inspector Mark Butler from the Major Crime Unit stated: "I hope these charges send a clear message to those involved that we are committed to disrupting criminality which has no place in Hertfordshire. We have now charged four people in connection with this investigation and will continue to work tirelessly and exhaust every line of enquiry."

We have also made a number of arrests and charges in connection to other reports of violence across the town.
