Three charged with attempted murder after serious assault in Watford
Hertfordshire Police have confirmed further charges as part of their investigation into a stabbing on Brocklesbury Close in July
Police investigating a stabbing in Watford in July, have charged three people with attempted murder.
Officers were called to an address on Brocklesbury Close at approximately 12.15am on Wednesday, 24 July, where a man in his twenties was found with stab wounds.
It brings the total number of suspects charged in relation to the incident to six.
Desmond Bonato, 18, of Raphael Drive, Watford, has been charged with attempted murder. He has been remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear at St Albans Crown Court on Thursday, 17 October.
Additionally, a 16-year-old boy from Greater London and another 16-year-old boy from Kent have both been charged with attempted murder. They are both remanded in custody and are due to appear at St Albans Crown Court on Monday, 23 September.
Emmanjuel Nyanutenha, 18, of Alwin Place, Watford, was previously arrested on 25 July in connection with the same incident and charged with attempted murder. His trial is set to take place at St Albans Crown Court on 20 January 2025.
Detective Sergeant George Lewin, who has been leading the investigation, said: “We have been working hard to secure four successful charges in connection with this incident, and can confirm we are not seeking anyone further at this time.”
