Stevenage looking to make FA Cup history ahead of Stoke clash
Boro stunned Premier League's Aston Villa last time out
Stevenage are back in FA Cup action today, travelling to Stoke for their highly anticipated 4th round clash.
Boro rocked the footballing world when they beat Aston Villa late on, and will be hoping the travelling support can help them rise to the occasion once again.
It's only the second ever meeting between the sides - with The Potters coming out decisive 4-0 winners back in 2016.
Boro, though, will be hoping fortune favours the bold as Stevenage have won each of their last 3 FA Cup games - winning away from home on each occasion.
The Hertfordshire side will be hoping to make history too - as no side in the history of the FA Cup has won in the first, second, third and fourth rounds away from home on each occasion in a single season.
Speaking to the club's media, manager Steve Evans: "The FA Cup is an absolute bonus for us - it's just the cherry on top of it all."
"We understand that we're in a structure that we have to keep positivity around the place."
"Can we go through? Absolutely."
It's Steve Evans' fourth FA Cup fourth round tie - but he has progressed from each of his previous three.
Kick off at the Bet365 stadium is 2pm.
