With the Jubilee weekend upon us, St Albans Cathedral is hosting a special tour exploring the relationship between the place of worship and the Royal Family.

People can learn about the royal gifts, photographs and anecdotes on the 'Royal Connections Tour'.

The Cathedral's website says people can "celebrate HM The Queen's Platinum Jubilee by exploring the relationship between the Abbey/Cathedral and the Monarchy, from the founding of the Monastery in AD 793 to the four visits by Queen Elizabeth II.

"Learn about (and even see a few) of the royal gifts, endowments, images and anecdotes from over 1200 years of history."

Tour start at 2pm, and will take place on Sunday 5th, Wednesday 8th, Tuesday 14th June.
