A seventh person has been charged in connection with a shooting in Watford in July.

A man was seriously injured in the incident on the A41, but has thankfully since recovered from their injuries.

Hertfordshire Police say a 17-year-old boy from Watford has now become the seventh person to be charged in connection with the shooting.

He was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder on Tuesday, before being charged and appearing at Hatfield Magistrates' Court yesterday.

The teenager, who can't be named for legal reasons, has been remanded in custody and will stand trial the week commencing May 19th.

Detective Inspector Mark Butler, from the BCH Major Crime Unit, said: “This has been a complex investigation, and the team has worked tirelessly to gather evidence which has led to another charge in connection with the shooting."
