Seventh man charged in Aylesbury murder investigation

A seventh man has been charged with murder in connection with the death of an Aylesbury man.

Amir Shafique, aged 22, died of his injuries after reports of a large fight in Lembrook Walk, Aylesbury, on 28 October.

Bertie Turvey, aged 21, of no fixed abode in Aylesbury, was charged today (19 November) with one count of murder.

He will appear at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (20 November).

Four other men from Aylesbury and two men from Birmingham have previously been charged with murder and have been remanded in custody.
