Serious collision closes section of A41
Police are seeking witnesses, information, and dash cam footage following a collision involving a car and a pedestrian on the A41 this morning (17th March)

A man in his 30s has been taken to hospital with serious injuries following a collision on the A41 southbound near the junction for Chesham. The incident, which involved a black Land Rover Velar and a pedestrian, was reported to police at around 5.50am today (Monday 17 March).
A man in his 40s has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless driving and remains in police custody.
Road closures have been in place on both sides of the carriageway while officers carry out investigations - but the road has since fully re-opened.
Sergeant Luke Jenkins, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit, said: “Our enquiries are continuing, and I am appealing for anyone with information to please come forward.
