A 60-year old man from St Albans has been arrested after a serious assault in the early hours of Sunday morning (5/3).
Police were called at just before 1.45am to Richard Stagg Close, where a fight resulted in a serious assault.
A 20-year-old man from St Albans was taken to hospital, where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
A 60-year-old man from St Albans was arrested at the scene in connection with the incident.
Detective Sergeant Mark Chipchase said: “This was a serious altercation, where a man has been left with potentially life changing injuries.
“We are not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident at this stage.
“However, anyone with information is asked to please email me directly.”
