Second arrest over High Wycombe attempted murder

A 19-year-old was stabbed in the street on Monday.

A 16-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in High Wycombe.

He's the second person arrested in connection with a stabbing on Monday morning - where a man was chased along Easton Street and attacked.

Investigating officer Detective Inspector Gill Fox, of Wycombe CID, said:

“Our investigation into this incident continues and we have made another arrest.

“From our enquiries, we believe that there was a red Toyota Yaris driving down Easton Street towards London Road at the time of the incident and I am appealing for the occupants of that car to please get in touch.

An 18-year-old from High Wycombe who was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder on Tuesday (8/9) remains in custody.
