Roads reopen after gas leak in Wixams
Residents had to be evacuated yesterday
Roads have reopened in Wixams after a large high pressure gas main leak near The Causeway.
Bedfordshire Fire Control have tweeted that Cadent Gas Ltd "have confirmed that they have made good progress with the gas repair".
Local residents had to be evacuated for their safety yesterday.
The fire service was urging people not to go near the area yesterday.
