Heavy rain across our region has caused problems to Buckinghamshire train lines this morning.

There are delays and cancellations on Chiltern Railways due to flooding which is forecast across areas between Princes Risborough and Birmingham.

Trains are currently running on an emergency timetable.

So far, London Marylebone to Oxford and Marylebone to Kidderminster are the two lines affected.

There are 35 cancellations already announced but this could increase.

Chiltern Railways are asking passengers to check before you travel.

There has been a warning from The Buckinghamshire Council reminding motorists to drive safely in the wet conditions.

Storm Alex looks like it will be staying with us for most of the weekend.

Crews from Transport for Buckinghamshire will be on hand to assist with any fallen trees or emergencies due to the weather.
