It’s set to be a dramatic evening at Stadium MK, as Buckinghamshire rivals MK Dons and Wycombe Wanderers face off in the final instalment of their League 1 semi final play-off.

It’s the Chairboys who hold the advantage, beating the Dons 2-nil in the first leg at Adams Park on Thursday night, courtesy of headers from Ryan Taffazoli and Sam Vokes.

MK didn’t help themselves though, going down to 10 men after Josh McEachran picked up a second yellow with 20 minutes to go.

Wycombe now make the 32 mile journey north for the ‘second half’ of the semi final, knowing they’re just one game away from a ticket to the final at Wembley on 21st May.

The winners of the tie will face either Sunderland or Sheffield Wednesday for a shot at promotion to the Championship, with the Black Cats carrying a 1-nil advantage into their semi final second leg, which takes place at Hillsborough on Monday night (9/5).

Jordi Furriol is from Spanish YouTube channel La Media Inglesa, who adopted Wycombe Wanderers as their official team. The channel sent a questionnaire to all 96 English Football League clubs, asking them why they should support their team. Wycombe were the only club to respond in Spanish - and so began an unlikely love affair.

Jordi is confident the Chairboys will finish the job.

“We need to finish the work at MK, we need to do the same game. It was a brilliant game for the Chairboys.”

“I think we just need to do the same, and if we can do that in the last 90 minutes of the semi final, we’ll see you at Wembley!”

Aiden Gray is Treasurer of the the Milton Keynes Dons Supporters Association, and told Greatest Hits Radio he’s confident his side can overturn the result.

"We’re at Stadium MK, it’s 2-nil, it’s still all to play for in this second leg, and home advantage will hopefully help carry them through."

“When it clicks we really can put on a show and I think that’s the key really now for Liam Manning and the team - it is do or die.”

Kick off at Stadium MK is at 6:30pm.
