Bedfordshire Police has spent two days dismantling an industrial-level cannabis growing operation in a Sundon Park warehouse.
After receiving reports from the UK Power Network and fire service, alerting officers to a potential cannabis factory in Camford Way, they seized around 1,200 plants, which they estimate to be more than £1 million pounds' worth of drugs, excluding the equipment and set-up.
The force says the team worked extremely hard in very difficult and hot conditions, but alongside partners working #TogetherForBedfordshire, to ensure the streets of Bedfordshire are safer and free from this expensive drug haul.
The investigation into this illegal drugs farm is continuing and police urge anyone with information to contact them via the website or 101, or alternatively to get in touch with Crimestoppers anonymously.
