Post mortem reveals stab wound to the neck caused death of man in Milton Keynes

Thames Valley Police have issued an update, following the murder of a man in Milton Keynes last week.

A 48-year-old man died following a stabbing inside a property in Fen Street last Thursday (January 25).

Paramedics from the South Central Ambulance Service called the force at 6:47pm.

Yesterday (January 28), a post mortem ruled a stab wound to the neck caused the cause of death.

Police say they've had a custody extension granted for a 24-year-old man from Milton Keynes, who's been arrested on suspicion of murder, and remains in police custody.

A 57-year-old woman from Milton Keynes, who was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, has been bailed until April.

The force are continuing to appeal for any information or footage from the area of Brooklands Square and Fen Street on Thursday.
