Police treating Cole Green lorry fires as arson

Three lorries were significantly damaged during the incident

The attack which took place on Saturday 2nd October at 10pm saw three lorries significantly damaged at a quarry off Birchall Lane.

Police are appealing for witnesses and information as part of the investigation.

Detective Constable Rebecca Natali, of the East Herts Local Crime Unit, said: “Thankfully no one was hurt during the incident, however, significant damage was caused to the lorries which of course is damaging to a business.

“We are appealing to the public to come forward with any information they may have about the incident.

Any information, no matter how seemingly insignificant, could greatly assist our enquiries."
