Police appeal for witnesses after fatal road traffic collision in Milton Keynes

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to a fatal road traffic collision in Milton Keynes.

The incident occurred at approximately 7.20pm on Wednesday (19 February) on Tongwell Street.

Officers say a black Audi A1 was involved in a collision with a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, a man aged in his sixties, passed away at the scene.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Ian Stevens, of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “Firstly our thoughts are with the family and friends of the pedestrian at this extremely difficult time.

“We are appealing for anyone with information or witnesses that may have been at the scene and have not spoken to the police, to please get in touch.

“We are also appealing for anyone that may have dash-cam footage near the time of the collision.

Police are asking anyone who witnessed the collision or has any information to make a report online or by calling them on 101, quoting reference 43250084899.
